4-year College Student Transfer Guidance:
Designed to meet individual goals
As a College Counselor, I help students define their unique interests and aptitudes and show them how to use that information to research the many college options. I provide students with a custom online dashboard KellerCustomCollegePlan to help students research and manage college application deadlines. This guided preparation helps students apply to schools that fit their academic goals. With some positive guidance and direction, it just takes some good organization and follow-through for students to earn acceptance to universities that are a great match.
To best understand how I can assist your family with your student's unique college needs, we will schedule a meeting with the student and parent, which is typically 45 minutes. Prior to the initial consultation meeting, both the student and parents will be asked to complete a questionnaire. These items, along with official transcripts, will help guide our discussion with a student's goals in mind. A consultation fee of $150, is due at the time of the meeting. The initial consultation fee will be fully applied to the first payment of a comprehensive contract initiated within one week of the meeting.
It is expected that students will meet individually by Teams with Kirsten (sitting at a table or desk with a computer, dressed in school-appropriate attire, away from distractions and other people/conversations). Parents are welcome to contact me via email or phone to discuss their questions. At times, it is possible to have parents join the last 15 minutes of a meeting with a student when arranged prior.
Comprehensive Service includes individualized guidance for students to research and apply to schools that are an excellent fit. Please consider initiating consultation services for a sophomore around January/February, prior to the junior year, for the best availability. Each year, I refer some juniors and seniors to colleagues as my caseload fills. Disclaimer - I do not have special pull with college admissions offices and cannot guarantee students admission to any school.
