I enjoy guiding young adults in exploring their life goals and dreams. I began working with students in the school setting in 1997, knowing that working with teens is my passion.
As the founder of Keller College Planning, I am thrilled to help students, looking forward to applying to college, find schools that they are excited to attend.
My background working with youth started during my own high school and college years spending summers working as a camp counselor with Boys and Girls Clubs of America and coaching youth soccer and basketball. My collegiate plans included continuing to work with youth. As a graduate student, I earned a Master's of Science in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in School Psychology. As a School Psychologist and Counselor, I counseled students of all abilities including those with learning differences. Professionally, I became increasingly eager to spend time guiding students to prepare for college. I returned to graduate school to earn a Post-Master's Certificate of Education in School Counseling at Seattle University working for 13 years in the Lake Washington School District where I continued to grow as a post-secondary resource for college-bound students.
As an Independent Educational Consultant, I utilize my experience and resources to focus students on exploring their talents and interests to apply to and enroll in a college that is a great academic fit.
In my personal time, I enjoy the company of my loving husband, Bryan and our two children, Braeden and Rachel. I love to travel, see new places, play golf and tennis, cheer on my son and daughter's activities, and spend time with good friends.
To serve the needs of my students and families, I participate in the professional community, attend professional conferences, tour college campuses for admissions and college culture information, and regularly communicate with colleges representatives.
